Виза США может быть отозвана уже после выдачи, если у государства появляется новая информация о праве на визу или допуске к въезду.
A U.S. visa may be revoked after issuance if new information causes the government to question whether the holder remains eligible for the visa or admissible to the United States.
На практике отзыв визы происходит чаще, чем раньше, и возможен не только по security/criminal основаниям.
Visa revocation is increasingly common and can occur even where the issue is not security- or criminal-related.

- Контакт с правоохранительными органами (включая DUI, shoplifting, drug-related incidents, domestic disputes), даже если дело позже закрыто.
- Нарушение визового статуса: unauthorized employment, неявка на учебу, иное несоответствие категории визы.
- Проблемы на границе / в аэропорту (CBP): подозрение на misrepresentation, некорректная цель поездки, риск нелегальной работы/пребывания.
- Неточности в визовой анкете, в том числе из-за ошибок агента/консультанта.
- Изменения в employment-based кейсе: увольнение, проблемы спонсора, работа вне approved role.
- Новые иммиграционные/неиммиграционные подачи, из-за которых государство сомневается в intent или qualifications.
- Позднее выявленный fraud/misrepresentation.
- Соцсети/онлайн-активность, интерпретированные как несовместимые с визовым статусом.
- Arrests or law enforcement contact, including DUI, shoplifting, drug-related incidents, or domestic disputes, even if charges are later dismissed.
- Violations of visa status, such as unauthorized employment, failure to attend school, or other conduct inconsistent with the visa category.
- Problems discovered by CBP at the airport or border, including suspected misrepresentation, improper travel purpose, or evidence suggesting the person intends to work or remain in the United States unlawfully.
- Inaccurate or misleading information in the visa application, whether intentional or caused by a travel agent or consultant.
- Changes in employment-based visa circumstances, such as termination of employment, failure of the sponsoring business, or work outside the approved role.
- Pending or denied immigrant or nonimmigrant applications that lead the government to question the holder’s intent or qualifications.
- Suspected fraud or misrepresentation uncovered after visa issuance.
- Social media or online activity that the government views as inconsistent with the person’s visa status or otherwise problematic.
Отзыв может исходить от consular officer, Department of State, а в ряде случаев — от CBP на border/port of entry. Если CBP аннулирует визу на границе, последствия могут быть особенно серьёзными (включая findings of misrepresentation или expedited removal).
A visa may be revoked by a consular officer, the Department of State, or, in some cases, by Customs and Border Protection at a port of entry. If CBP cancels a visa at the border, the consequences can be especially serious and may include findings of misrepresentation or expedited removal.
Если отзыв произошёл вне США, обычно въезд по этой визе невозможен и требуется новая подача. Если отзыв произошёл внутри США, это не всегда немедленно прекращает lawful status, но создаёт риски для дальнейших поездок, extension/change of status и adjustment of status.
If a visa is revoked while the person is outside the United States, the individual is generally prevented from traveling on that visa and may need to apply for a new one. If the visa is revoked while the person is inside the United States, the revocation does not necessarily terminate lawful status immediately, but it can create serious complications for future travel, extensions, change of status, or adjustment of status.
