B1/B2 after many years of attempts
B1/B2 after many years of attempts
Client V.S.'s case.

Our client, V.S., moved to the U.S. in early 2001 through family immigration, hoping to obtain a Green Card soon and bring his wife and young son to join him. However, in September 2001, a horrific terrorist attack occurred in New York, causing all immigration offices across the country to shut down indefinitely. It was unclear when they would resume operations, while his wife and son remained in Moscow without him. Lacking the patience to wait, V.S. left the U.S. with his immigration process unfinished, never obtaining lawful permanent resident (LPR) status.

For many years, Vladimir tried to obtain a B1/B2 tourist visa to visit his relatives and pay respects at his beloved grandmother’s grave. We carefully analyzed the reasons for his previous denials and compiled a strong package of supporting documents. Additionally, we wrote a detailed letter explaining his situation. The consul was convinced that, after 17 years, V.S. no longer intended to immigrate to the U.S. but simply wished to see his family, some of whom were already of advanced age. After reaching out to us in 2017, V.S. and his family successfully obtained U.S. tourist visas and finally made the long-awaited trip they had dreamed of for years.
